I remember feeling overwhelmed with emotions, seeing him again after so long. It felt surreal. As I stood there, he looked at me and smiled. I remember how relieved I felt just looking at him. It was as if nothing had changed. In my dream, I was finally able to tell him all about everything that happened since he passed away. I spoke about my achievements, challenges, and how much I missed him. It felt like I was talking to him like he never left. Then, he started talking to me. The way his voice sounded so familiar made my heart ache. We talked about everything. From mundane things like his favorite food and the weather to my personal life goals and how he was proud of me. As we talked, it felt like time was fleeting, and I wished this moment would last forever. But eventually, I knew I had to go. Before leaving, I hugged him tightly and whispered "I love you" in his ear. When I woke up, I felt mixed emotions. I was sad that it was just a dream, yet, at the same time, I am grateful for the opportunity to talk to him again. Even though it was just a dream, it reassured me that he is still with me in spirit. In conclusion, although it may seem like it's just in my head, talking to my deceased father in my dream brought me peace and closure.
